International Symposium &#8220;Treatment of Facial and Eye Injuries&#8221;, held in Ivano-Frankivsk with the participation of American and Canadian doctors, the Department&#8217;s staff presented their own experience in the rehabilitation of patients with combat injuries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Professor Yuriy Chepurny and Assistant Professor Dmytro Filonenko gave a report on the treatment and prosthetic rehabilitation of patients with post-traumatic anophthalmos &#8211; a complex consequence of injuries that often accompany mine-explosive facial trauma.<\/p>\n<p>Together with colleagues from the USA, Canada, specialists from the Department of Ophthalmology and Optometry of the National Medical University, the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Hospital, and the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Southern Region, they discussed effective approaches to multidisciplinary rehabilitation of servicemen.<\/p>\n<p>Sincere thanks to Nataliia Komashko, BF &#8220;Patients of Ukraine&#8221;, Face
