The Head of the Department, Professor Andriy Kopchak, and Assistant Professor Tetyana Pavlychuk completed their internship at the Necker-Enfants Malades AP-HP Hospital (Paris, France) in the Department of Craniofacial Surgery.
The visit was held together with colleagues from the National Center for Neurosurgery “Okhmatdyt”:

🔬 The purpose of the internship is to master modern methods of treating patients with rare craniofacial malformations, in particular syndromic craniosynostosis, and to study the principles of interdisciplinary teams in craniofacial surgery.
💡 As part of the internship, the participants:
▪️ participated in complex craniofacial and neurosurgical operations
▪️ visited an international conference dedicated to rare diseases, with the participation of doctors from Necker, Yale University (USA), clinics in Europe and South America
▪️ got acquainted with the work of simulation centers and the clinic’s modern 3D laboratory
🤝 The visit took place within the framework of a cooperation agreement between Paris Cité University and the Bogomolets National Medical University, which opens up new prospects for scientific interaction and academic mobility.
